We believe that people should have the option of choosing who they want to spend their vacation with, no group activities. We set you up with one of our private accommodations in a hotel or private residence. No forced group activites, private surf and Spanish classes- 1 :1 teacher to student ratio classes, and fun trip for you and your traveling companions. Our only non-exclusive group activity is yoga.

PADI Discover scuba

For those of you who are curious about diving in the open ocean in order to experience the wonder of earth's natural aquarium.

After watching an introductory video and signing a Medical Liability Release, you'll attend a 2 hour pool session with our Instructor in order to master some basic concepts and skills. You’ll then be ready to go on one Open Water dive under the surpervision of your PADI Instructor. Average dive depth is 6 metres/20 feet (12 metres/40 feet is the maximum depth).

Discover Scuba program does not qualify you for certification. But, Discover Scuba Diving skills may be credited toward the PADI Open Water Diver certification.

We have combined Discover Scuba diving with Surf or Yoga.

PADI Scuba Diver Certification course

This course is perfect for people who want to dive a few times a year. As well, this course is the first step in obtaining your PADI Open Water Diver certification. The PADI Scuba Diver Certification will allow you to dive worldwide, but always, under supervision of a PADI Divemaster or higher professional level.

What you would need to start is good health and an ability to swim in order to participate in the Scuba Diver certification program. Children between the ages of 10 - 14 may participate in order to obtain the PADI Junior Scuba Diver program.

The course can be completed in 2 days.

• First Day - Video, classroom theory and test.
• In the afternoon - pool session
• Second Day - 2 ocean dives at Marietas Islands (40 ft. Max. Depth)

PADI Open Water Certification course

The PADI Open Water Diver certification will give you the liberty to dive worldwide, with a certified buddy and without PADI professional supervision. You will be allowed to dive at a depth of 60-ft (18-m).

A PADI Jr Open Water Certification will allow students with the minimum age of 10 years to dive only with the supervision of a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 40-ft (12-m).

The course can be completed in 4 days.

• First Day - Video, classroom theory and test.
• Afternoon pool session
• Second Day- 2 ocean dives ( 40 ft. Max. Depth)
• Third Day - Pool session, final theory and final exam

PADI Kids Programs

The PADI Bubblemaker program is especially for kids age 8 to 10 years of age. A great experience for the little one, fun and easy. Don't need to be a big swimmer, just comfortable in the swimming pool. At the Casa Terramar we have the perfect depth from 4 feet to 8 feet.

This course lasts 2 hours packed with fun!

• First you need to be at least 8 years old.
• You need to be accompanied with a parent or guardian.
• No pre-training required
• Special equipment for kids is available
• After signing Liability Release forms and completing some on-land classroom theory you will be ready for your pool session

The PADI Seal Team is about "AquaMissions" for 8 years and older. Five missions will be proposed to you in the program. Through AquaMission's activities you will develop fundamental scuba skills and knowledge while preparing kids for furthure adventure.

Each Aquamission consists of a briefing, a skill session and a game or activity.

The course can be completed in 1 day.

Puerto Escondido Surf Expeditions

For all you advanced surfers and adventurers out there, let us arrange an awesome five-day surfing trip to Puerto Escondido, and the surrounding breaks north and south, with one of our local guides. This is your chance to surf some of the finest breaks alone or with your buddies!

We like to make sure that all of our guests are given plenty of special attention. To do this, we accept 3 guests per week, please contact for special pricing for larger groups.

Surfers must be experienced. This is not a beginners' trip!

Surf Trips are offered year round. Please contact us with your desired dates.

Puerto Escondido: $800 per person (triple ocupancy) $1,000 per person (double ocupancy)
We offer: 7 day trip with 5 full days of surfing, 2 days for arrival and departure. Breakfast and dinner is included, alcohol is available but on your own tab. Guests will stay at Bungalows and hotels in both Puerto Escondido and other surf spots north and south of us, depending on swell conditions.

Guests will need to arrange flights to and from Puerto Escondido, Mexico. You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel in Puerto Escondido where you will pass your first night.
